Position Responsibilities:
  • Work as a liaison between Sales and Marketing/Operations/Finance on special projects and products for key accounts within the Strategic Sales channel. The liaison may manage all aspects of the project or work as a team member depending on the complexity of the project.
  • Represent customer/sales on product development teams to ensure timing, pricing, packaging requirements are clearly communicated and met.
  • Negotiate with all parties to resolve issues on pricing, timing, features, etc. during product development process
  • Work with customers/Account managers to forecast sales on new products and initiatives
  • Analyze requests from Account managers for promotions to ensure the promotions either directly produce profitable results or are justified by a strategic need.
  • Work with Marketing Product Managers to develop and distribute product announcements and sales materials
  • Work with Account Managers on pricing for items to gain new listings by balancing sales and profit goals
  • Work with Account managers and Key accounts on Category Management projects using space management software
  • Coordinate cross functional Customer Business Teams to make sure details of product initiatives are communicated and executed smoothly
  • Analyze sales results from assigned accounts, report key findings monthly, and make recommendations for growth opportunities
  • Work with Product Managers on customized products to ensure target costs and timing are met and product is launched successfully
  • Assist Account Managers with presentations to key accounts on new items or initiatives

0 Education Required: MBA pref.
 
Position Experience:
  • Strong computer proficiency. Use of Microsoft Office and comprehensive understanding and proven advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience and understanding of Prospace Space Management software, preferred.
  • Creativity integrated with intellectual horsepower.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral including deduction, informing and listening skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter within a team setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and manage results with others.
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks and situations in a calm and effective manner.

Other Remarks: Must have Walmart, Kroger, or Major Customer experience. Must have both category and sales experience. Corporate office is located in Cincinnati, OH. Company in $500M in sales.
