Responsibilities
The Director, Shopper Marketing collaborates internally and externally to accelerate business growth via the following key areas of responsibility:
Lead development and implementation of the Brands In-Store Excellence initiatives leading to differentiated brand, category, and department solutions ensuring the successful translation of company strategies into meaningful, creative shopper activations.
Facilitate flawless new product execution of brand NPD with retail and online customers. Support attainment of the Company Business Plans with customer/brand specific shopper marketing initiatives.Deliver specific customer-related brand leadership team projects as agreed by brand and customer development management.Oversee development of various internal initiatives including promotional materials, display comps, and retailer marketing materials.
The Director, Shopper Marketing will act as a conduit for communication between the marketing groups and the Customer Management Team. The Director, Shopper Marketing will:
Provide voice of customer for the brands.
Provide Customer Group with insights into franchise / brand strategies and plans.
Participate in the development of market/shopper research studies to help ensure that they include retail provisions where appropriate.
Participate in the strategic planning process to ensure franchise / brand and customer strategies are aligned to ensure maximum growth for the brands

The ideal candidate will have 10-15+ years multifunctional experience at the Director/Senior Director level preferably with an advanced postgraduate degree and demonstrate the following capabilities / skill sets:
o Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to turn strategy into action
o Strong communication skills
o Self directed and able to thrive in an highly entrepreneurial environment
o Ability to work and influence effectively across functions without line authority
o Ability to work and influence effectively with all levels within the organization
o Very high degree of creativity and resourcefulness.
