Responsibilities: |
We are seeking an highly skilled individual to serve as the brand champion in the development, maintenance and implementation of brand strategy, positioning, messaging, marketing planning, as well as business results for the brand. This role will work with a wide variety of external brand agencies and internal departments within the organization such as Sales, Marketing Research, Retention, Product development and Customer Service to provide education of our brand development strategies as well as ensure creative integration across all channels.
Responsibilities:
"As the brand champion, serves as the single point of accountability for growing the brands health, market share, sales, and profitability. Ensures the brand promise, positioning and identity are consistent across all consumer touch points with a 360 degree approach.
"Supports SVP and works with brand agency to lead development of superior brand strategy and positioning that wins in the market place. Developing and implementing innovative brand positioning strategies across multiple product categories and channels that result in long-term brand equity maximization.
"Oversees the creation of the brand equity guidelines, logos, trademarks, and brand identity. Gains support for marketing strategies and programs by influencing stakeholders across the enterprise.
"Provides key insight into market conditions, products, consumers, competition to help drive strategic direction. Diagnoses and analyzes brand business and competition. Understands the competitive landscape, identifies, assesses market drivers, and competitive differentiators to elevate positioning and build desired strong brand equity.

"Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, general business required. MBA highly desirable.
10 or more years experience in Consumer Package Goods Brand Marketing. Knowledge of cell phone industry and competitive landscape are a significant plus.
"Strong business and strategic acumen.
Prior experience in the CPG, telecommunication, and/or retail marketing sector.
Outstanding track record for managing and growing brand sales and share.
Understands and crafts high impact 360 degree marketing plans to manage awareness, consideration, and purchase leveraging traditional and interactive marketing.
Solid understanding of the role that visual expression, messaging and consumer experience have on brand image and its business impact
Exceptional business synthesis and analytical skills with consumer research to identify key consumer insights and market needs.
Expertise in crafting brand strategy and communication elements (positioning statements, brand architectures, taglines, etc.); ability to ensure strategic solutions/recommendations drive the creative/message output.
Ability to implement seamlessly, motivate other team members, and confidently interact with executives and other senior levels of the organization in order to influence, persuade, gain support, input and approvals.
"Superior project management skills and strengths in managing multiple projects/deadlines; ability to set priorities and be flexible in changing environments; goal orientation with a strong bias toward action and tangible results.
Strong track record leveraging collaborative leadership in a matrix organization to get things done, with a respectful and professional attitude towards all co-workers.
Experience with streamlining processes to ensure innovative ideation, productivity, and effectiveness across functional teams.
Strong interpersonal and customer/client service skills; diplomatic, collaborative, and responsive.
Superior communication and presentation skills; confident and articulate.
