Position Responsibilities: a) marketing " Work closely with the leadership team of Client to develop marketing and branding strategies " Customize the overall Client marketing strategies to target technology clients " Driving pilots and trials of Clients unique services " Be a visible spokesperson in the industry for Client b) business development & sales " Working with the dedicated sales person(s) develop a strong pipeline of prospective clients with a long term vision of building strategic relationship with major technology corporations " Effectively communicate and develop rapport with prospective clients. " Generate in-person meetings with Decision Makers and Key Influencers. " Implement effective closing techniques to ensure meeting goals are achieved. " Thorough follow ups are required for each valid prospect. " Win new accounts. " Have a focus on winning annuity type of contracts " Actively work on cross selling the various service offerings from Client. " The candidate should also have experience and be able to manage live client engagements c) setting-up and managing Client technology practice - US team " Set-up a sales and business development team for the technology practices in the US. " Develop the existing client services and delivery team d) consulting & advisory " Develop, enhance and demonstrate strong understanding of Client market intelligence vision, approach and service offerings. " Develop and demonstrate thorough understanding of the technology space. Further develop and demonstrate a very good understanding of the business priorities and market research needs of technology companies, and how to map these to Client offerings. " Provide market research backed consulting to clients and deliver business impact d) client services " Ensure that world class service levels are maintained. " Set-up metrics and review mechanisms to track client satisfaction and proactively address issues " Act as an escalation point " Ensure that the client win is converted to a long term growing engagement measures of performance " Developing a strategic marketing plan to target technology clients in the US " Building out a sales strategy and plan " Meeting and exceeding goals related to revenues, client wins and client satisfaction " Ability to lead by example and manage/mentor reports and peers

Position Experience: essential qualifiers " Market research expertise. " Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements. " Strong customer service background. " Demonstrated record of success in market research sales and business development " At least 12 years experience in market research. At least 5 years in Business Development & Client Servicing " Experience in target driven business development " Team management experience, covering market research delivery and market research sales " Undergraduate degree in a related discipline, Graduate degree preferred " Willing to adapt/ be flexible to cultural differences other key Skills " Goal -oriented " Good understanding of technology domain " Excellent and engaging communication skills, ability to build quick rapport with current and potential clients " Ability to ask effective questions to understand client problems and offer compelling solutions " Positive attitude: pursues meetings goals and quotas with self-confidence and resolve, bounces back after disappointment or rejection " Ability to quickly adapt when facing resistance or changing prospect/customer priorities " Good time management and organizational skills " Ability to influence teams globally (in the US and India)
