The Analytic Insights Associate Manager will interact with and influence marketing, sales, and general management through recommending and implementing data-driven solutions and applications. The Associate Manger will help support key business issues by providing insightful, data driven recommendations. This position will help develop category and brand roadmaps to help improve marketing and sales decision making at both the strategic and tactic levels. Potential areas of work include: POS and panel data, marketing mix, price and promotion, and optimizing retail execution.
The Associate Manager must be a self-starter with a high energy level, self-confidence, leadership and strong presentation skills. The Associate Manager will work in a dynamic environment and be looked to as an actively engaged team member. This is a visible position that has constant interaction with marketing and sales.
Primary objectives of this position are: to implement, improve and update the Companys understanding of marketplace performance; develop fact-based plans and pricing actions.
- Demonstrated experience in the ability to influence sales and marketing decisions.
- Demonstrated experience in developing actionable consumer insights.
- Identify and articulate fact-based and pricing principles through detailed analysis of marketplace and consumer dynamics.
- Ability to effectively communicate consumer insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Understanding of consumer and business environment, capable of identifying/developing marketing practices and concepts, and ensuring competitive edge of analytical applications.
- Prior exposure to POS and Panel data (IRI, Nielsen).
- Prior exposure to price and promotion models or marketing mix models.
- Prior exposure to sales team experience.
- Prior exposure in working across cross functional teams.
